It was a way to relax and cope with the high stress in my life. I have tried many different yarn subscriptions but the options were limited & did not meet my needs. I wanted more high quality wool alternatives (e.g. alpaca, silk, bamboo, soft cotton, viscose, linen, non-wool blends etc.) with more customizable options.

I was determined to turn my passion into a business, so that I can make fellow crocheters smile like I do when I see yarn. I wanted to share my joys when I touch ‘OHHH so soft’ yarns in my hands.

This is why I started My Box of Yarn - with a variety of fiber types and all the supplies you need from hooks to patterns to project bags.
